Notes From Pastor Dave
Fall 2023
“Learning to Love and Live the Word of God” is our theme this Autumn season as we dig into Psalm 119 during our Sunday morning Messages. Please join us as we discover through David the Psalmist his deep love for the Lord and His Word, and how his desire to live according to God's Word deepened along with that love. When we gather on Thanksgiving Eve to reflect on God's blessings so far in 2023, may we declare along with King David, "Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day." [Psalm 119:97 NKJV]
What a joy it was to celebrate God's faithfulness during our 175th Anniversary celebration on June 10! We were blessed to gather together to reflect on what God has done, and challenged to align with the Lord as we continue to love God, love one another, and to make disciples of the Lord Jesus. Thanks to all who had a part in the celebration - by attending, participating, and serving behind the scenes! Recordings of the entire service are available upon request, and the morning Message from Dr. Larry Correll can be viewed on our website or YouTube channel. Our church history was also updated - copies are available on the table in the foyer or upon request.
Our Women's Ministry is reigniting this Fall! Ladies, please check out the opportunities to join together with one another to get better acquainted, grow in your relationship with the Lord, "retreat" together for a weekend in November, and pitch in with some service projects for the Lord!
Men, ongoing opportunities in study and fellowship await you, along with a return to Lake Lundgren Bible Camp for their Men's Retreat this winter.
Our website is under construction because our host is retiring the platform our site uses and is replacing the platform and editor. The website will be updated along with the "reveal" of a new church logo to visually describe what our church is all about and ready to go later this Fall.
In this season of harvest let's remember that the Lord's field is also "white unto harvest" - let's pray that He would raise up and sent out workers - even among us - into His Harvest!
May God bless you and your loved ones!
